Jerusalem Through my Father’s Eye, Kevork Kahvedjian, Elia Photo Service, Jerusalem, 1998.
This book presents a selection of photographs from Elia Kahvedjian complied by his son Kevork Kahvedjian. Elia Kahvedjian (1910-1999), from Urfa by birth, survived the Armenian genocide and grew up in an orphanage in Palestine. He started practicing photography in Jerusalem before the 1948 Arab-Israeli War and continued to do so afterwards. His Elia Photo Service was taken up by his son, and later by his grandson Elia (or Eli) Kahvedjian.
